FreightBids Tools privacy policy.

Overview

FreightBids Tools provides free browser-based freight utilities, including a bill of lading creator, fuel surcharge calculator, transit time estimator, density calculator, and trailer space estimator.

Information you enter

The tools may use information you type into forms, including shipment details, company names, addresses, BOL numbers, commodity descriptions, dimensions, weights, miles, fuel surcharge values, and appointment times. This information is used to generate documents or calculate results in your browser.

Local browser storage

The BOL creator can save defaults such as logo and shipper information in your browser's local storage when you choose to save defaults. This information stays in that browser unless you clear it, reset it, or your browser removes it.

Address autocomplete

Some address fields may use Google address autocomplete to help fill address details. When you type into those fields, Google may process the characters you enter to provide suggestions. Google handles that data under its own privacy practices.

PDF and document generation

BOL previews and printable documents are generated in your browser. FreightBids Tools does not require an account and does not upload generated BOLs to a FreightBids server.

Calculators

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser to produce estimates. These tools are for planning and informational use and do not replace carrier, legal, compliance, or contract review.

Analytics and advertising

FreightBids Tools does not currently include third-party advertising SDKs. If analytics or advertising features are added later, this policy will be updated.
